Get to Know Carlon
Carlon Ryan is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who enjoys working with young adults who may be experiencing depression or anxiety, or are exploring their own personal and/or spiritual growth. She has a passion for guiding people to find strength and empowerment within themselves. She also enjoys working with the LGBTQ+ community and has experience with non-monogomous relationships.
She has worked with children, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, infidelity, behavioral challenges, and developmental disabilities.
Carlon practices from a narrative therapy framework. She works collaboratively with her clients to explore their stories, emotions, and unconscious patterns in order to bring healing and empowerment to promote change. Carlon strongly considers her clients' cultural influences such as gender, age, race, sexual orientation, spirituality, family, and tribe and community traditions as forces that greatly determine development and personal narrative. She also utilizes cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques in her work with her clients.
