Hailey Smith is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern at Northwest Relationships, practicing under the supervision of Margaret MacLeod, LMFT. She works with individuals, children, adolescents, and young adults, supporting clients navigating adjustment challenges, anxiety, stress, emerging adulthood, identity exploration, intimacy concerns, communication difficulties, and emotional regulation. Hailey is especially passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults moving through new life stages, transitions, and identity development.
Hailey's therapeutic style is humanistic and experiential, grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins when people feel truly seen and understood. She focuses on helping clients slow down, tune into their inner world, and make sense of their emotions and experiences in an honest and compassionate way. She approaches therapy as a collaborative journey, walking alongside clients as they reconnect with themselves and move toward lives that feel more authentic, empowered, and aligned with their values. She doesn't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and carefully adapts the pace, tools, and focus of therapy to fit each client's unique needs.
Hailey is currently completing her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Central Washington University. She has completed training in the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) and is committed to providing thoughtful, attuned, and developmentally appropriate care. Outside of session, Hailey makes pottery, hikes, runs, camps, and bakes and cooks for loved ones. She values connection deeply and finds joy in experiences that nourish both creativity and relationships. Fun fact: Hailey has her motorcycle license and enjoys the sense of freedom that comes with riding.
Therapy can help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overlooked or silenced.
