WE'RE HIRING
Practice in a place that practices what it preaches
Whether you're a graduate student looking for an internship year, or a post-grad clinician ready for your next role, NWR is built around the work that drew you to therapy in the first place.
WHY NWR
A practice built by therapists, for therapists
Northwest Relationships exists because Jennifer and Jason got tired of watching good clinicians burn out in systems that didn't support them. We built the place we wished existed, where the clinical work is the work, and the rest is taken care of.
That same belief shapes how we train interns, support associates, and protect the clinical hour for our licensed team. Whatever stage you're at, you'll find the same culture.
"We pay our clinicians well, we train our interns thoroughly, and we protect everyone's time. Those things are not unrelated."

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Real support at every stage
Whether you're an intern or a fully-licensed clinician, the same principles apply: protected clinical time, real compensation or training, a team that talks, and admin handled. The specifics scale with your role.
Real compensation
Fee-for-service rates well above community average for licensed clinicians. Associates earn a sustainable rate with a built-in raise at full licensure. Internship is unpaid but rich in training and supervised hours.
Caseload control
You set a sustainable weekly target for your stage — 8–12 for interns, 20–25 for licensed clinicians. We help you hit it, never push you past it.
Paid admin time
Notes, consultation, supervision, and team meetings are part of the week — not squeezed in after-hours.
Clinical autonomy
Your caseload, your modality, your clinical judgment — appropriate to your stage. We support; we don't micromanage.
Credentialing handled
We manage insurance panels, billing, intake, scheduling, and marketing. You show up to sessions.
Team that talks
Weekly case consultation, private chat spaces, a real community. The clinical loneliness ends here.
Medical, dental, vision
Full benefits package for W-2 clinicians meeting the hours threshold. Details in the first conversation.
PTO & sick leave
Real time off without guilt or gymnastics. Rest is part of the job.
Growth path
Present at team trainings. Supervise interns. Develop a specialty. NWR is built to help clinicians keep growing at every stage.
OUR CULTURE IN ONE SENTENCE
"We hire and train for warmth, clinical honesty, and a willingness to keep learning. Everything else is teachable."
- Dr. Jennifer Sampson + Jason Victor, founders
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
You'll thrive here
Our strongest interns and clinicians have a few things in common, across every stage and credential type.
You care about working across diverse identities and backgrounds
You take consultation seriously — both giving and receiving it
You can hold complexity without collapsing into rigid frameworks
You want a steady caseload (or supervised hours) without chasing them yourself
You're willing to learn from peers, supervisors, interns, or colleagues
You believe therapy is a craft worth getting better at for your whole career
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF
You'll feel out of sync
We'd rather be honest up front than lose six months or your whole internship year to a mismatch.

You prefer to practice in isolation without weekly consultation
You want a paycheck (or hours) without clinical accountability
You don't want to work with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, or non-traditional relationship structures
You're uncomfortable naming power, identity, or systems in the room
You want a rigid modality-first practice without flexibility
You're looking for a fully independent contractor arrangement with no team involvement
HOW HIRING WORKS
A clear, respectful process
Different paths, same principles: read every application, respond within two weeks, no mystery about compensation.

2
50 minutes with Jennifer or Jason either in-person or virtual. Mutual screen — not a pop quiz. Bring your real questions.
3
If we're a fit on both sides, you'll get an offer within a few days. Onboarding is structured but unhurried; we want you to feel ready before your first session

Use the form on this page. We'll ask about your program, year, and clinical interests. Include any preliminary documentation from your school.

Many programs have specific MOUs or training requirements. We'll work with your field placement coordinator to make sure expectations align before we move forward.
