This policy explains what information we collect through our public website (northwestrelationships.com), how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only.

If you become a client, your health information is protected under federal and Washington law (HIPAA and RCW 70.02) and governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at intake. That protection is broader and stronger than this website policy, and nothing on our website changes it. Our client portal is a separate, secure system operated through our electronic health record provider.

Because we are a health care practice, information you send us about seeking care is also covered by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, linked from our homepage, which describes your rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act.

 

WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY:

●    Information you send us. When you fill out a form on this site, call, or email us, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, contact information, and what you are looking for. We use it to respond to you, answer questions, and schedule. We treat inquiries about care with the same discretion we bring to care itself.
●    Technical information. Our website platform (Wix) collects standard technical data needed to operate and secure the site: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited. We use this to keep the site working, secure, and accessible. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
 

 

WHAT WE DO NOT DO:
 

●    We do not run third-party advertising trackers or pixels on this website.
●    We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
●    We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.
●    We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and you can opt out at any time.

The site uses cookies that our website platform requires to function: session management, security, and basic site operation. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's core pages will still work.

WHEN WE DO SHARE INFORMATION:

We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and the practice (such as our website platform and our scheduling and records systems), under obligations of confidentiality, or when the law requires it. If you become a client, your information moves into our clinical systems and the protections described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
 

YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS:

You may contact us at any time at info@northwestrelationships.com or 253-292-1216 to ask what information we have from your website interactions, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Washington residents have additional rights over health-related information described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. We will never treat exercising your rights as a reason to decline you care.

 

CHILDREN:
 

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site. (Adolescents seeking care have specific rights under Washington law; contact us and we will help.)

 

CHANGES:
 

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top for 30 days.
