Sophie Warren is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern at Northwest Relationships, practicing under the supervision of Robin Beckley, LMFT. She works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents around depression, anxiety, spirituality, couples dynamics, trauma, gender and sexuality, and identity development. Sophie holds a special place in her work for adolescents and families navigating who they are and how to express it.
Sophie's approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and holistic. She draws from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, with additional training in the Gottman Method (Level 1) and Prepare/Enrich Pre-Marital Counseling. Central to her practice is the belief in the transformative power of noticing oneself in context, and she works to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in curiosity, warmth, and respect for each client's identities, values, and beliefs.
Sophie is currently completing her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University, with anticipated graduation in 2026. She is a Student Member of AAMFT and WAMFT. Sophie identifies as a Christian, cisgender woman, queer-affirming Gen Z, and brings particular sensitivity to clients navigating personal and familial identities. Originally from California, she now appreciates the Pacific Northwest's rainy climate, which complements her introspective nature. Outside of session, Sophie knits, paddle boards, bakes, thrifts, plays board games, and spends time with friends and family.
Real change begins with noticing yourself in context for the first time.
