Get to Know Hailey

Hailey Smith (she/her) is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who brings warmth, presence, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience into the therapy space. She works with individuals, adolescents, children, and young adults, supporting clients as they navigate adjustment challenges, anxiety, stress, emerging adulthood, intimacy concerns, and communication difficulties.

Hailey’s therapeutic style is humanistic and experiential, grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins when people feel truly seen and understood. She focuses on helping clients slow down, tune into their inner world, and make sense of their emotions and experiences in an honest and compassionate way. Hailey approaches therapy as a collaborative journey—walking alongside clients as they reconnect with themselves and move toward lives that feel more authentic, empowered, and aligned with their values.

Currently completing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University, Hailey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Washington University. She has completed training in the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) and is committed to providing thoughtful, attuned, and developmentally appropriate care.

Hailey believes therapy can help people reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been overlooked, silenced, or misunderstood. Change, in her view, happens through insight, self-compassion, and creating space to fully understand who we are and what we need. She does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and carefully adapts the pace, tools, and focus of therapy to fit each client’s unique needs.

She is particularly passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults as they move through new life stages, transitions, and identity development. Hailey also welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking support, growth, and deeper self-understanding. Her goal is to help clients feel empowered, grounded, and proud of the person they are becoming.

Outside of the therapy room, Hailey enjoys pottery, spending time outdoors hiking, running, and camping, as well as baking and cooking for loved ones. She values connection deeply and finds joy in experiences that nourish both creativity and relationships. A fun fact—Hailey has her motorcycle license and enjoys the sense of freedom that comes with riding.
