Get to Know Dr. Sampson
Dr. Jennifer Sampson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist who works with clients on a variety of concerns about personal and relationship growth. She is a bi-racial, Filipino cis-woman who is poly-friendly and kink-informed. She enjoys supporting clients in improving communication, navigating conflict and decision-making, and exploring intimacy, identity, and sexuality. She also offers supervision mentoring for therapists seeking their AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential, and she works from an anti-oppression social justice lens.

Dr. Sampson also has PSI Certification in Perinatal Mental Health and works with clients and families going through fertility challenges and treatment, including IVF, IUI, Queer and Trans Reproductive Support, and Third Party Reproduction. She supports clients through challenges like miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and abortion support.

She practices from a strengths-focused, collaborative framework and also utilizes strategies from behavioral approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based techniques. Her past research involves work with families and communities struggling with challenges related to Hoarding Disorder.

In addition to working in her clinical practice, Dr. Sampson is the Program Chair for the Couple and Family Therapy Master's Program at Antioch University Seattle, and she is the former President of the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (2019-20).
