Kira Jerome is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at Northwest Relationships, practicing under the supervision of Margaret MacLeod, LMFT. She works via telehealth with individuals, couples, and families, with particular care for clients navigating the challenges of early adulthood and adolescence, and couples seeking to deepen their connection. Kira begins each therapeutic relationship by getting to know a client's background, history, identity, culture, values, and goals, so the work feels collaborative from the start.

Kira's practice draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy, Satir's Transformational Systemic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her stance is client-centered, communication-focused, and emotion-focused, grounded in a humanistic and experiential foundation. She emphasizes the importance of secure emotional bonds, both within the therapeutic relationship and in clients' personal lives, and trusts the internal wisdom each person already carries to guide the work toward self-esteem, authentic communication, and connection.

Kira earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University and her BBA in Marketing from the University of Washington. She is a member of AAMFT and WAMFT. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kira identifies as a cis woman on the cusp of Gen Z and Millennial generations, with a spiritual orientation that sits outside organized religion. She volunteers with Sibling Strong, supporting siblings separated in the foster system. Outside of session, she's a nap enthusiast, a beginner photographer, and a fan of Disney, watercoloring, and live music.

Partners can be mirrors, guiding us toward healing and self-acceptance.
