Travis Adams is a Couple and Family Therapy intern at Northwest Relationships, practicing under the supervision of Brittany Thomas, LMFT. He works with individuals, couples, and adolescents, and is especially focused on anxiety, depression, identity exploration, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and healing from religious and cultural experiences. Clients describe him as steady, empathetic, and easy to talk to.

Travis draws on Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and systemic approaches, tailoring the work to each client. He pays attention to the patterns, emotions, and relational systems that shape a person's life, with the belief that deeper self-understanding leads to meaningful and lasting change. Much of his work centers on helping clients reconnect with their values, strengths, and sense of agency, especially when stress, transition, or relationship strain has pulled them away from those things.

Travis is currently completing his Master's in Couple and Family Therapy at Antioch University, where he also earned his B.A. in Arts and Literature. He brings a grounded, nonjudgmental presence to conversations about meaning, values, identity, and spirituality, and aims to create an affirming space for clients of all backgrounds. Outside of session, Travis is a longtime musician and songwriter who's spent years touring the country, an experience that shaped his understanding of connection, resilience, and storytelling.

Therapy is a place where people can explore not only their struggles but also their hopes.
