You shouldn't have to explain who you are before we can start the real work. I'm Brittany Thomas, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and I work with LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, kink, and neurodivergent clients who want a therapist who already speaks the language, instead of one who needs a glossary first.

My specialties include Sexual Minority Mental Health and Child Mental Health, and I draw on systems theory, which looks at the relationships and environments shaping a person rather than isolating them as the sole source of a problem, alongside Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, tailored to whoever is actually in the room with me. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I hold both a general clinical caseload and a specific commitment to identity-affirming care that doesn't treat that identity as the problem to be solved.

I'm also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, currently supervising several of NWR's associates and interns, which extends that same identity-affirming, systemic training to the next generation of clinicians here.
