Grace Bumgarner is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor intern at Northwest Relationships, practicing under the supervision of Robin Beckley, LMFT. She works with individuals and couples around depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. She is especially mindful of how social, cultural, and personal identities shape a person's experience, and brings warmth, presence, and a holistic perspective into the room.

Grace's therapeutic style is nonjudgmental, empathic, and client-centered. She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful catalyst for change, one built on trust, connection, and intentionality. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Existential Therapy, she tailors her approach to each client's unique needs and goals, paying attention not only to symptoms but to the broader context of identity, relationships, and life experiences that shape emotional well-being.

Grace is currently completing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Puget Sound and holds a B.S. in Outdoor Recreation Industry from Colorado Mesa University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association. Before entering the counseling field, Grace worked as a whitewater rafting guide, an experience that continues to shape her appreciation for resilience, presence, and the healing power of the natural world. Outside of session, she enjoys hiking, whitewater rafting, cooking, baking, puzzles, crafts, and getting lost in a good mystery novel.

We are always in the process of becoming.
