Jason Victor is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, co-founder of Northwest Relationships, and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate. He earned his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University and his B.S. in Psychology at the University of Washington.
Jason works from a solution-focused, experiential perspective that leans on the therapeutic relationship and the strengths clients already bring into the room. He sees adults, couples, and families around family conflict, infidelity, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, and has specific training in play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. He also works with athletes on performance and mental health, which often turns out to be the same conversation about pressure and identity in different clothes.
Couples and families come to Jason for direct, grounded work that takes the people in the room seriously. He enjoys parenting work and sessions with kids and teens building the skills they need at home and school, and he supervises clinicians across the NWR team.
Most of the change that holds is built on something a person is already doing right.
