Grief that doesn't have a clear name, like the loss of a relationship structure or a family role that never quite fit, deserves a therapist who won't rush you past it. I'm Margaret MacLeod, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and I've built my practice around exactly that kind of grief, the kind nobody sends a card for.

I work with individuals, couples, and families on disconnection, sex therapy, and parent-child sexuality education, a rare specialty focused on helping parents talk to their kids about bodies and boundaries in age-appropriate ways instead of avoiding the conversation entirely. I draw on Bowen Family Systems, which looks at how patterns repeat across generations of a family, Satir's Human Validation Process Model, Narrative Family Therapy, and Gottman Method. I'm also a member of AASECT, the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

I'm an AAMFT Approved Supervisor currently supervising several of NWR's associate clinicians, which means the people I train are held to the same depth of oversight I bring to my own client work.
