Meet MaiLinh Hartz, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, who brings a rich understanding and a personalized approach to therapy. MaiLinh specializes in helping BIPOC and multicultural clients navigate challenges such as internalized oppression, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. Her therapeutic style is notably integrative, drawing on Solution-Focused, Experiential, Narrative, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies to adapt effectively to her clients' diverse needs.

MaiLinh views therapy as a partnership, emphasizing safety, vulnerability, and connection as key components of the therapeutic process. She believes that change occurs when clients recognize their inner strengths and are witnessed authentically in their current state and as they evolve. MaiLinh is dedicated to ensuring that her clients feel empowered to advocate for their needs within therapy, recognizing their expertise in their own lives.

Her personal journey as a bi-racial, millennial, cis-gender woman of color and the daughter of an immigrant enriches her empathy and effectiveness in dealing with clients from various backgrounds. She finds particular joy in working with young adults, couples, and individuals navigating multiple cultural contexts, and those motivated to redefine their lives towards their ideal selves.

MaiLinh's motto, "Be proud of where you're at and excited about where you're headed," underscores her focus on self-compassion and growth. Outside the therapy room, MaiLinh enjoys a variety of activities, including cooking, baking, gardening, chopping wood, skiing, biking, and learning new skills—a true "Jill of all trades."

Her commitment to advocacy and diversity is further evidenced by her leadership roles, such as being a recipient of the AAMFT Diversity Scholarship for Emerging Leaders and her involvement in creating supportive spaces for BIPOC individuals in both personal and professional settings.

MaiLinh Hartz combines professional dedication with a genuine, approachable personality, making her an invaluable resource for those seeking guidance through the complexities of life and identity.
