Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys engaging with her hobbies, including caring for her two cats, Miqo'te and Mellie, maintaining her sole surviving houseplant named Steve, and indulging in various geek cultures like trading card games, building Gundam model kits, and listening to D&D podcasts. She's an avid video gamer, with a particular fondness for JRPGs and MMORPGs.

Emily’s professional contributions include speaking engagements at the International Family Therapy Association World Congress in Toyama, Japan, and as a nominee for WAMFT Student Associate of the Year in 2024.
